Cadenet Novias: Typographic Logo and Symbol

A bridal boutique logo designed to balance elegance and visibility through a typographic solution with an embedded dress symbol.

This project involved the design of a logo for a bridal boutique specializing in wedding dresses. The objective was to create an identity that felt elegant, sober and memorable, while still attracting attention in a subtle way. The key concept was the integration of a dress silhouette within the lettering, turning a decorative detail into the most distinctive feature of the brand and allowing it to function independently as a symbol.

The Challenge

The challenge was to create a logo for a bridal boutique that felt refined and feminine without becoming overly ornamental. The identity needed to stand out with a clear visual detail, while maintaining a sober and elegant tone suitable for the bridal sector. It also had to generate a recognizable symbol that could work independently across different applications.

Services

The identity process began with three initial logo proposals exploring different visual directions for the brand. Each option tested a different balance between femininity, ornament, and simplicity. This exploration made it possible to evaluate which concept best represented the boutique while maintaining clarity and a more refined visual tone.

The most distinctive element of the final logo is the dress silhouette integrated within the lettering. Rather than adding a separate decorative icon, the concept embeds the bridal reference directly into the wordmark, creating a more cohesive and original identity. This detail draws attention in a subtle way and gives the logo a stronger visual personality.

The identity was applied to packaging through a paper bag design, showing how the logo and symbol could extend naturally into a retail context. This application reinforces the boutique’s brand presence and demonstrates the logo’s ability to work beyond the screen or printed stationery.
