Research, diagnosis, and audience analysis defined the foundation of the visual system. Before designing, the process focused on understanding the brand’s context, identifying inconsistencies, analyzing competitors, and studying user behavior to build a clear, coherent, and effective communication strategy for the Master in Communication Strategies.
The project began with the development of a visual identity manual to establish a clear and consistent foundation for all communications. This step defined the logo usage, color system, typography, and visual elements, ensuring coherence across digital and print formats. By setting these guidelines early, the design process gained direction, scalability, and consistency, allowing the brand to communicate with clarity and professionalism across every touchpoint.
An editorial calendar was developed to structure content planning and ensure consistency across social media. This system made it possible to organize topics, define formats, and maintain a regular publishing rhythm while aligning each post with the overall communication strategy. It also enabled performance tracking and continuous optimization based on audience response.
As part of the strategy, the website was redesigned to make the program more accessible, responsive and easier to navigate across devices. The new structure was planned to support future growth through a blog, expanding the program’s digital presence and content strategy over time. To encourage lead generation, visitors could request the academic brochure by leaving their contact details, creating a clearer path between information, interest and conversion.
The educational program was designed as a structured PDF document, translating complex academic information into a clear, accessible and visually consistent format. The layout was carefully organized to guide the reader through the content, combining hierarchy, typography and imagery to enhance readability. This piece functioned both as an informative document and as a key communication asset to present the value of the master’s program.
To ensure consistent brand application, a set of PowerPoint presentation templates was developed for faculty use. These templates provided clear guidelines for layout, typography and visual elements, enabling all presentations to align with the brand identity. The goal was to reinforce brand recognition across every communication touchpoint.
