Maraku: AI-Generated Commercial Spot

An experimental advertising project developed with AI, focused on creating a full commercial spot for a fictional passion fruit drink brand, from naming and product design to storyboard, motion generation, voice-over, and final video editing.

Maraku is a conceptual advertising project created to explore how AI can support the production of a complete commercial campaign. The project focused on building a fictional summer drink brand and developing a short audiovisual ad from scratch, including naming, logo creation, product mockup, storyboard, animated visuals, music, voice-over, and video editing.

The Challenge

The challenge was to create a visually coherent and commercially appealing ad using AI tools across the entire production process. This meant not only generating assets, but also guiding each stage strategically to ensure consistency between the brand concept, the product design, the visual language, and the final audiovisual narrative.

The aim of the campaign was to position Maraku as a refreshing, zero-calorie summer drink associated with tropical flavor, visual freshness, and an environmentally friendly image, while increasing visibility and brand recognition among a young and active audience.

The campaign was designed for young adults between 18 and 35 who are active, health-conscious, and environmentally aware, and who look for refreshing, practical products that fit a fast-paced summer lifestyle.

The project began with the creation of the brand name and logo. Using AI as a creative support tool, I explored different naming directions and developed a visual identity that felt vibrant, tropical, and easy to remember. The final logo was later refined and vectorized to achieve a cleaner and more usable result.

Once the brand identity was defined, I designed the product packaging as the visual anchor of the campaign. The carton pack was developed to establish the product’s overall look and to maintain consistency across the different scenes of the commercial. Special attention was given to color, fruit imagery, material appearance, and proportions so the product would remain recognizable throughout the ad.

I then structured the commercial through a storyboard that defined the sequence of scenes, transitions, and key visual moments. This stage was essential to connect product aesthetics with narrative rhythm and to ensure that each generated shot contributed to a clear advertising message.

AI image generation and image-to-video tools were used to build the core visual scenes of the ad. Rather than using outputs as final pieces without revision, the process involved prompt refinement, selection, visual correction, and narrative control in order to achieve a more coherent and cinematic result.

To complete the audiovisual experience, I produced the voice-over and soundtrack with AI tools and edited the final piece in CapCut. This allowed me to combine generated assets with timing, pacing, and basic post-production decisions that supported the campaign’s tone and promotional intent.
